We are Chris and Jonathan, two friends that frequently share too many Gin and Tonics. We came to the conclusion that with Jonathan’s experience in the brewing industry and Chris’s experience in chemical engineering, we could take over the world, or at least make a fine Gin that we would love to drink on well, every occasion.

Premium Gin

We are so blessed to live so close to such an amazing coastline, four days can bring four different seasons with each one as awe inspiring as the next. We have taken inspiration from our surroundings and developed a range of Gins that feel, well, just right.

Stormy Bay Raspberry & Rhubarb

A vibrant deep pink Gin, but no artificial colours or flavourings here! We only use fresh perfectly ripe locally grown Raspberries and Rhubarb, along with a combination of Juniper and Rowan Berries, Coriander Seeds, Cassia Bark, Cardamom Pods, Grains of Paradise (a type of pepper), Orris Root and Liquorice Root. The secret (shh!) in producing such a vivid colour with such a delicious flavour is to distil with the fresh fruits and then infuse with more fresh fruit afterwards and its definitely worth it. A slightly sweeter drink, that only gets its sweetness from the fruit, with the gorgeous aroma of summer and a sophisticated natural taste.

There is a lot of great gin produced these days but I have to say the Stormy Bay Mango and Lime flavour is a delicious gin but the Signature gin is absolutely exceptional. Very highly recommended.

I've enjoyed all 3 of the current line up from Bay Distilleries - hard to pick a favourite as they've all got different characters, did love the orange as it's a really refreshing zing to it. There are many gins out there and these are definitely a stand out line up - it's great trying to work out the ingredients as you taste them, different layers of flavour evolve as you drink. Highly recommended, especially with the summer just around the corner - I think these will be a fantastic accompaniment to an afternoon in the garden
